Testimony in opposition to Arizona House Bill 2134, a bill that would enable officers to arrest and prosecute drivers for unknowingly fleeing from law enforcement vehicles without eliminating any of the serious risks to public safety posed by vehicular pursuits.
Testimony in opposition to South Dakota House Bill 1047, HB 1047, a bill that would increase penalties for fleeing from law enforcement vehicles without eliminating any of the serious risks to public safety posed by vehicular pursuits.

Video-recorded beating of 28 y.o. meth. addicted man, with multiple arrests for drug sales, who was captured by deputies after high speed pursuit over the Bay Bridge. Deputies beat Plaintiff with batons for minutes. Two deputies were fired and criminally charged with felonies. Plaintiff sustained multiple crushing hand fractures, concussion, and scalp lacerations from multiple head strikes by deputies’ batons. Plaintiff faced unrelated federal charges at time of settlement.
