B.W. v. City of New Orleans et. al. is the case brought by the parents of B.W., a minor who was killed during an interaction with New Orleans police officers who failed to activate their body-worn cameras (BWCs) at the time of the fatal incident.

Two men shot, one of them killed, by police investigating a stolen bicycle; one of the men, the bicycle theft victim, saw the police stopping his friends on their bikes and tried to tell police they had stopped the wrong men; police opened fire on them; police body cameras confirmed that victims were unarmed; decedent survived by parents.
