Deputies beat Plaintiff with batons for minutes. Two deputies were fired and criminally charged with felonies. Plaintiff sustained multiple crushing hand fractures, concussion, and scalp lacerations from multiple head strikes by deputies’ batons. Plaintiff faced unrelated federal charges at time of settlement.
