Kristy Gough, aged 30, killed in March 2008 while cycling with Matt Peterson when sheriff's deputy fell asleep at the wheel.

Accident resulted in three separate settlements:

$800,000 settlement with Gough's father;
$1.2M settlement with Gough's mother - see here;
$2.3M settlement with Peterson's family - see here.
